Candles of Hope campaign offers cancer patients and their families insights and support.

The SixFinger Foundation has begun a series of donation drives in order to purchase copies of “Candles of Hope,” a therapeutic poetry anthology written by cancer survivors and their families, to be distributed at cancer treatment facilities

By partnering with GWL Publishing and Topic of Cancer, The SixFinger Foundation aims to create positive experiences for cancer patients and their families. “We are so grateful to have not only formed a partnership that allows 100% of proceeds to go directly to charity, but also will truly help families,” says L Free, Executive Director of The SixFinger Foundation. “The response from the community has been wonderful and we are looking forward to assisting families in their time of need.”

The SixFinger Foundation will be utilizing its Bob Evans Donation Dinners, as well as it other partnerships with local establishments such as Choo Choo’s BBQ and Catering, to help fundraise for the Candles of Hope campaign. Over the course of April and May we have secured enough funds to donate our first set of anthologies,” says L Free, Executive Director of The SixFinger Foundation. “We will be sourcing a cancer treatment facility for our first donation and are hoping that with continued community support this donation will be the first of many.”
